The No. 22 ranked team in the nation, BYU, will head on the road in Week 5 of the college football season to take on Big 12 Conference opponent Baylor at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas, on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars are undefeated this season heading into this week with a 4-0 record overall and a 1-0 record against conference teams. They opened up the year with a 41-13 win over Southern Illinois before heading on the road for the first time and beating SMU 18-15. They stayed on the road beating Wyoming in Week 3 34-14 before coming home for their first conference game against a ranked Kansas State team and won 38-9 in dominant fashion. Jake Retzlaff has thrown for 990 yards and nine touchdowns with three interceptions while also leading the team in rushing with 28 carries for 103 yards on the ground. His favorite target has been Chase Roberts who has 17 receptions for 310 yards and one score.

The Bears have had a rough start to the season being even at 2-2 overall through four games and 0-1 against their only conference opponent thus far. They won in Week 1 against Tarleton State 45-3 before losing their first game of the year on the road to Utah 23-12. They bounced back in Week 3 with a win over Air Force 31-3 before losing a game they should have won last week against Colorado on the road 38-31 in overtime.
Sawyer Robertson, the team’s leading passer with 463 yards and three touchdowns, took over as the Baylor starting QB after Dequan Finn went down with an injury and has remained the starter since. Dawson Pendergrass has run 34 times for 157 yards and one touchdown while Josh Cameron has caught nine passes for a team-high 142 yards and a touchdown.
