After opening the season with a home win over Mississippi Valley State, Tennessee State took a step back on the road at North Dakota State to even its record at 1-1. The blowout loss against No. 2 North Dakota State in the Fragodome was disappointing, but Tennessee State will now return home to face an Arkansas-Pine Bluff team that also had two lopsided decisions. Tennessee State is 3-1 in the previous four matchups between these two teams, including a 24-14 victory last September.
