The Air Force Falcons hit the road on Saturday night to take on the San Diego State Aztecs. The Falcons come into Saturday night on a three-game winning streak and 4-7 on the season. The Falcons had a rough start to the year and had lost seven games in a row, but they have been playing their best football of the year in wins over Fresno State, Oregon State and Nevada. In the seven straight losses the Falcons scored 19 or fewer points six times. In their three straight wins they have scored at least 22 points in each game. It has been a big turnaround for the Falcons and one they are looking to continue as they try and end their season with another win. Dylan Carson and Quentin Hayes have been the top two rushers this season for the Falcons as they have gone for 475 and 428 yards respectively and have combined for nine touchdowns.

The Aztecs will have to find a way to slow down the rushing attack from the Falcons if they want to end their losing streak and deal Air Force a loss. The Aztecs come into Saturday night on a five-game losing streak and they are just 3-8 on the season. They haven’t won since beating Wyoming back on October 12th. The win against the Cowboys was their second in a row, but they have struggled since.
The last two weeks they have lost by identical 41-20 scores to both UNLV and Utah State. Both those losses came on the road and they are hoping being back at home can get them back in the win column.
