    The UIL Conference 2A Division 1 Championship is down to undefeated Stamford and Ganado on Thursday in high school football.

    An undefeated season and the high school state championship is on the line for Stamford (15-0) in the UIL Conference 2A Division 1 Championship on Thursday. The Bulldogs take on Ganado (14-1), who has won 12 straight games heading into the championship. They are playing about as well as any team in the division. They will attempt to give the Bulldogs their first loss of the season. Aside from the Indians one loss, these teams head into the state championship game about as evenly matched as any two teams could be and riding a combined 27-game winning streak. That sets the stage for one of the most exciting state championships in the UIL this season.
