How to Watch Wizards at Rockets: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets host Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards for the first time this season on Monday.

The Houston Rockets (6-4) kick off a three-game homestand with the Washington Wizards (2-6), who have lost four straight. Over the last four games Washington has really struggled losing by a combined 84 points. Washington’s young core is starting to stretch their legs with Bilal Coulibaly nearly doubling his scoring output in his second season from 8.4 to 16.6 points per game. The trio of Coulibaly, along with rookies Alexandre Sarr and Carlton Carrington make Washington one of the most exciting young teams in the league. That is where Houston was a season ago before turning the page under head coach Ime Udoka. Houston is off to the same start through 10 games and look to build on that with this three game homestand.

Through 10 games Houston has the third best defense in the Western Conference, allowing just 107.9 points per game. That could spell trouble for Washington, who has only scored more than 110 points four times this season.

While the Houston defense has the ability to stifle teams on that end of the floor the offense circulates around Alperen Sengun. The fourth-year playmaking big man is averaging a double-double, 15.8 points and 11.1 rebounds, while dishing out 4.1 assists per game. Sengun anchors the offense around some of the best young wings in the league.

Jalen Green leads the team in scoring with 21.7 points per game with Fred VanVleet (13.9 points), Dillon Brooks (11.9 points), Jabari Smith Jr., (11.6 points), Tari Eason (11.1 points) and Amen Thompson (10.2 points) all averaging double figures this season.
