The Utah Jazz (3-11) wrap up a four-game road trip where they lost the first three games against the San Antonio Spurs (7-8). During this road trip Utah has lost all three games by 11 points or less against some of the best teams in the Western Conference. After this game Utah gets to head back home for a five-game homestand. This is the third game of the season with the teams splitting the first two. San Antonio could be without three key players with Jeremy Sochan (hand) out while Victor Wembanyama (knee) and Devin Vassell (knee) listed as day-to-day. They were without those three in San Antonio’s biggest win of the season against Oklahoma City led by Chris Paul, Keldon Johnson and Harrison Barnes.

In San Antonio’s last win Paul finished with his sixth double-double of the season (14 points and 11 assists) while Johnson came off the bench for 22 points (6-12 from three) to give the team a much needed boost.
San Antonio won the first game 106-88 early in the season. Paul had a double-double in that win as well finishing with 19 points and 10 assists. Wembanyama led the team with 25 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, five blocks and five steals. That was the second-year phenom’s second career five-by-five game.
Then in the next game between the team Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton led Utah to a 111-110 win. Sexton led the team with 23 points, Markkanen added 20 points and the bench added 55 points to hold off San Antonio down the stretch.
