Up next for Utah are the Brooklyn Nets (11-16), who just traded away starting point guard Denis Schroder. Brooklyn won its first game without Schroder led by a monster performance from Cam Johnson and a strong showing from Ben Simmons. Both teams have both eyes locked on the NBA Draft Lottery, which opens up opportunities for young players and rising stars to show what their games.

In Brooklyns 101-94 win over the Toronto Raptors the offense was built around Johnson. He finished with 33 points, 10 rebounds and six assists on 9-15 shooting from the field. He got to the line at will and showed flashes of his full potential beyond just the roll of shooting specialist.
That performance by Johnson was his third 30-plus point game of the season and gave him a career-high in free-throw attempts and makes going 11-12 from the line. Over his last six games Johnson is averaging 24.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game on 49-46-84 shooting splits.
Utah is coming off a monster first quarter that led to a win jumping out to a 48-19 lead. They went 9-13 from three and 9-9 from the free-throw line helping Utah open up a 29 point lead that was chipped away over the next three quarters in a 126-119 win over the Detroit Pistons.
