How to Watch San Antonio Spurs at Houston Rockets: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs take on Houston in a Texas preseason basketball showdown.

The future is bright for the San Antonio Spurs with Victor Wembanyama. That future might start sooner than anticipated with the acquisitions of veterans Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes, alongside rookie Stephon Castle, who has looked terrific in the preseason. Both teams wrap up the preseason with this game before heading into the regular season. Houston has won two straight games heading into today and two of its preseason games while San Antonio is 2-2 through four games. San Antonio has showcased its depth around Wembanyama, Paul and Barnes this season with seven players, including Castle, averaging at least nine points per game.

Castle is averaging 9.8 points and 3.8 assists per game through four games on 46-27-70 shooting splits. The rookie has played just 20.2 minutes per game in the preseason showing flashes of being a great complimentary combo guard for San Antonio this season and going forward.

For Houston this preseason its duo of Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun have started to make the case for big rookie contract extensions. Green has led Houston with 17.3 points in just 22.6 minutes per game. He has continued the trend started last season shooting 8.0 three-pointers per game on quality efficiency.

Sengun is stuffing the statsheet like he has done for three seasons with 15.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Second year wings Cam Whitmore (12.7 points per game) and Amen Thompson (10.7 points per game) have also played well making a case for being starters on this deep, young, exciting Houston team.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
