It would be fitting for Sacramento to earn its first NBA Cup win of the season, get back in the win column and start to find some consistency against a divisional rival. For Los Angeles, it has won three games in a row and have the opportunity to tie a season-high winning streak of four games here. These teams are very familiar with one another and have the star power between De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis and DeMar DeRozan for Sacramento and James Harden for Los Angeles to make this an exciting NBA Cup game.

These teams have played once already this season outside of the NBA Cup with Los Angeles coming away with the 107-98 win. The All-Star trio of Fox, Sabonis and DeRozan combined for 67 of the team’s points, but it was not enough to overcome a strong defensive effort from Los Angeles.
Los Angeles showcased a balanced attack on offense led by Norman Powell’s 31 points. Six players overall finished in double-figures scoring with Harden orchestrating the offense pacing the team with 22 points and eight assists.
Derek Jones Jr. finished with 14 points while Ivica Zubac added one of his nine double-doubles this season with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Amir Coffey and Kevin Porter Jr. came off the bench to score 14 points and 11 points respectively in the win.
