Gradey Dick and the Toronto Raptors will take the court against Payton Pritchard and the Boston Celtics on Sunday night.
The Toronto Raptors will head on the road on Sunday night to take on the Boston Celtics in an NBA preseason showdown at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Raptors opened up the NBA preseason part of the NBA Canada Series taking on the Washington Wizards at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. They came away with a 125-98 win in that first game as well. In that win, RJ Barrett, the former New York Knick, led the team with 17 points in 14 minutes shooting 7-for-10 from the field. Former Kansas product, Gradey Dick, had 10 points with four rebounds and five assists on 5-of-9 shooting from the field. Off the bench, Chris Boucher finished with 13 points and six rebounds in 18 minutes to lead the group. Four players finished with 10 points each including Kelly Olynyk, Jamison Battle from Ohio State, Jahmi’us Ramsey, and Jamal Shead from Houston. Shead also had four assists.

The Celtics also came away with a win in their first game of the season and their second in a pair of games apart of NBA International at the Abu Dhabi Games 2024 against the Denver Nuggets. The first game was won 107-103 and the second 130-104.
Payton Pritchard led the team in the first game with 21 points, four rebounds, and six assists in 24 minutes off the bench. Jayson Tatum has 12 points and six rebounds with five assists to lead the starters. In the second win, Jaylen Brown led the team with 21 points while Sam Hauser came off the bench with 15 points and eight rebounds.
