Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns go for a fourth straight win against the Portland Trail Blazers. Watch free on Fubo.
The Phoenix Suns (4-1) have started this season looking like the contender that they hoped to be last season. The duo of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker are both averaging at least 26 points per game. They are the only duo averaging at least 26 points per game and one of only two that are scoring at least 25 points per game. Phoenix heads into this game on a three-game winning streak and look to extend that against the young, rebuilding Portland Trail Blazers (2-4). So far through six games Portland struggled to find the right mix with its veterans and young talent. Second-year guard Scoot Henderson is coming off the bench and is off to a significantly better start to the season in his sophomore campaign.

Last season Henderson put up a paltry 7.8 points and 5.0 assists per game through his first six games. Portland was 3-3 in those games despite Henderson shooting 32.2% from the field and turning the ball over 3.8 times per game as he transitioned from the NBA G League to the big leagues.
Through five games the duo of Booker and Durant are picking up right where they left off last season. This year Booker is averaging 26.4 points and 5.0 assists per game coming off back-to-back 33-plus point games. Efficiency is what makes this duo special with Booker shooting 48-45-87 splits.
For Durant, he has shooting splits of 53-46-80 while averaging 26.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. The playmaking burden has been lifted from Booker and Durant who averaged 11.9 assists per game, the top two playmakers on the roster last season. This season they are second and fourth on the team in assists per game averaging 8.2 per game.
