How to Watch Oklahoma City Thunder at LA Clippers: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

James Harden and Los Angeles look to give Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Oklahoma City their first loss of the season.

This season the Oklahoma City Thunder (5-0) came to play. Through five games this season Oklahoma City has the number one defense and second best net rating in the league. While the defense has been as advertised, the trio of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams have played as well as any trio in the league on the offensive end. They take on the Los Angeles Clippers (2-3) on the second night of a back-to-back. Los Angeles traded Gilgeous-Alexander six seasons ago for a quick fix in the name of Paul George that was supposed to bring the franchise its first NBA Championship. Over the last six seasons Los Angeles has won three playoff series, Paul George is in Philadelphia and Kawhi Leonard has not suited up yet this season.

In place of Leonard and George this season Los Angeles has turned to James Harden and Norman Powell to carry the load. Harden in his 16th season and fourth team in five seasons is averaging 23.8 points, 11.6 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game through five games.

Gilgeous-Alexander is coming off finishing second in MVP voting last season. He is off to a less efficient start to the season, but is still averaging 26.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.2 steals per game.

This season Holmgren has made a huge leap putting up 19.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 3.8 blocks and 1.4 steals per game on 57-30-74 shooting splits. Those averages are all up from last season with Holmgren leading the league in blocks per game through five games anchoring the top defense in the NBA.
