After winning three MVPs over the past four seasons Nikola Jokic looks better than ever through his first 12 games this season. Jokic is averaging career-highs virtually across the board while keeping the Denver Nuggets (8-6) in the mix as one of the best teams in the Western Conference. For Towns this is nearly a career-best season across the board as well in his first season with New York. He is averaging 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game 53-46-85 shooting splits. Towns adds a new dimension to New York that ended last season as a scrappy, defensive team with depth to an elite offensive team this season.
New York is coming off a loss that snapped its four game winning streak. That was the best stretch of the season for New York where the team averaged 127.5 points per game and won by an average of 14.3 points per game.
