The Chicago Bulls host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday in this Eastern Conference duel.
The Orlando Magic look to extend a hot start to the season and stay at the top of the Southeast Division standings when they travel to take on the Chicago Bulls. The Magic are 3-1 overall and 1-1 on the road coming off a clutch win over the Indiana Pacers. Orlando won 119-115 on the road all thanks to Paolo Banchero. This man is here to stay and a legitimate superstar. When the Magic have the No. 1 overall pick, they just haven’t missed yet.
Banchero was phenomenal against the Pacers, scoring a career-high 50 points. In comparison, Indiana’s highest scorer was Pascal Siakam with 26 points. As if that wasn’t enough, Banchero added 13 rebounds and nine assists. His 37 in the first half was the most in franchise history since Tracy McGrady in 2003. The performance helped keep the Magic in the game after Indiana went on a 22-3 run in the third quarter. As long as Orlando doesn’t let up another run like that, the Magic should be the favorites even on the road tonight.

Chicago is coming off a big win though to get back to 2-2 on the season after beating the Memphis Grizzlies 126-123 on Monday. Zach LaVine looked like his old self, leading the team with 30 points, which included 11 in the fourth quarter to just edge out the Grizzlies. It was a tremendous comeback because the Bulls didn’t grab a lead until midway through the fourth quarter, but they never looked back.
Chicago was down as much as 20 points in the comeback victory. They’ll have to start out much quicker though because the Magic are arguably playing even tougher than Memphis right now.
