The Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat are both going for their third win in a row on Saturday.
The Atlanta Hawks host the Miami Heat in the first game of this four-game season series on Saturday. There has been a lot of news swarming around Miami with the news that star Jimmy Butler wanted to be traded. But team owner Pat Riley said in a statement that the Heat would not be trading Butler. Butler has not formally requested a trade though bringing back memories of him being traded out of Minnesota and Philadelphia. Despite all of this, the Heat have been playing well in the meantime winning both games this week and they’ll be looking for their third win in a row tonight against the Hawks. Miami is coming off a close 89-88 win over the Orlando Magic which was a revenge game as the Heat lost to the Magic last Saturday 121-114. But came up with a huge defensive battle on Thursday in Orlando.
Miami shot an astounding 50 percent from three-point range and holding Orlando to just 16.7 percent from behind the arc. No shot was bigger though than the last one that came from Tyler Herro. The point guard hit the winning jumper with just 0.5 seconds left in regulation. The win came even though this was the third straight game without Butler. It was a huge statement victory after the Heat blew a 25-point lead last Saturday against the Magic. With the win, Miami is just 1.5 games back of Orlando for the top spot in the Southeast division.

The Hawks were down by 21 but scored a staggering 50 points in just the fourth quarter alone to complete the comeback.
