Stephen Curry leads the Golden State Warriors on the road against the Utah Jazz.
The newlook Golden State Warriors kicked off the season with a win led by Stephen Curry with nearly a triple-double. Curry came out making plays for teammates when his shot was not initially falling, finishing with 17 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. He was one rebound away from his 11th career triple-double, but with a 17 point lead heading into the fourth quarter it was a vintage day at the office for the two time MVP. Golden State stays on the road to take on the Utah Jazz who are coming off a loss in their season-opener. Will Hardy has the offense rolling again this season with seven players scoring in double-figures in the loss led by Lauri Markkanen.

Markkanen found his stroke to start the season finishing with 35 points and nine rebounds on 9-15 shooting from the field and 4-7 shooting from three. He also got to the free-throw line at will all game shooting 13-14 to keep Utah in the game all the way down to the final seconds.
Both teams bring a deep, balanced attack on offense where any player can lead the team in scoring. That is all designed around an All-Star talent in Curry and Markkanen respectively. For Utah, six other players scored in double figures in Jordan Clarkson (17 points), Collin Sexton (16 points), Walker Kessler (16 points), Keyonte George (12 points), Taylor Hendricks (12 points) and John Collins (11 points).
Golden State ran up the score with the most points in a game this season with 140. Buddy Hield led the way with 22 points off the bench and Andrew Wiggins led all starters with 20 points. Seven players overall scored at least 10 points with three more falling just short with eight points in the win.
