Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors take on De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings in NBA preseason action.
The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings add another chapter to their long standing rivalry in preseason action on Wednesday. Over the last two seasons the teams have played 16 games total between the regular season, In-Season Tournament, Play-In Tournament and the playoffs ,with Golden State holding a 9-7 edge. Of those 16 games, 11 were decided by 10 points or less with six coming down to one possession in the end. Stephen Curry started off the preseason with nine points, shaking off the rust off the offseason and the long summer where he helped lead Team USA to a gold medal. Golden State started the preseason with a gritty win over another divisional rival in the Los Angeles Clippers and look to make it two in a row.

Lindy Waters III (15 points) and Moses Moody (12 points) led the team off the bench as the only two players to score in double figures. They were also only two of three players for Golden State, a renowned three-point shooting team, to make multiple shots from deep.
For Sacramento this is the team’s preseason debut. The Kings are coming off a disappointing season where they won a Play-In Tournament game against Golden State, but missed the playoffs overall after losing to the New Orleans Pelicans.
During the offseason Sacramento took a huge swing, making a move for All-Star DeMar DeRozan in a three-team trade sending Harrison Barnes and Chris Duarte out to the San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls, respectively. Now the team has De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis and DeRozan as primary playmakers who have the ability to score 30 points or lead the offense as a playmaker this season.
