Despite losing their last game the Denver Nuggets (11-9) saw Nikola Jokic make more history. The three-time MVP passed Magic Johnson for third all-time on the triple-double list. He now has 139 triple-doubles in 692 games, over 200 less games than Johnson and 400-plus games less than both of the players ahead of him on the list. Including his teammate, Russell Westbrook who is the all-time leader with 200 career triple-doubles. Up next for Denver is a trip to the nations capital to take on the lowly Washington Wizards (2-18). After a 2-2 start to the season Washington has lost 16 straight games. Each of those losses have come by double-figures for this young, rebuilding Washington team.

Denver has traded wins and losses over the last nine games putting on full display its inconsistency this season. They are primed to start playing their best basketball with Aaron Gordon back in the lineup after missing 10 straight games.
