Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks take on Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz for the second time this season on Thursday.
Through 11 games this season the defending Western Conference champion Dallas Mavericks (5-6) are under .500 and struggling some. At this point last season the team was shooting 39.4 percent from three, led by Luka Doncic lighting up the nets at 42.6 percent from three. This season the team is struggling to find a rhythm from deep despite adding arguably the second best shooter of all-time in Klay Thompson to stretch the floor. Doncic and Dallas look to get on track against the Utah Jazz (2-8) who have firmly planted their flag into a rebuild to start this season. Utah is tied for the least amount of wins and sits in last place in the Western Conference.
