The Boston Celtics will head on the road on Tuesday night to take on the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, in an NBA preseason matchup as the preseason winds down with just three days left. The Celtics are undefeated in the preseason thus far. They took down the Denver Nuggets in two straight games apart of the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024 winning the first game 107-103 and the second game 130-104. They defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 139-89 before taking down the Raptors at home 115-111 on Sunday. In that last win over Toronto, Lonnie Walker IV led the way for the starters with 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field. Drew Peterson led the entire team with 23 points, three rebounds, and three assists on 6-of-9 shooting from the field in just 23 minutes. Payton Pritchard continued his reign of terror with 19 points, five rebounds, and nine assists. Also, both Neemias Queta and Jordan Walsh, the Arkansas rookie, had double double’s in the win.

The Raptors are just 1-2 through its three preseason games to date. They took down the Washington Wizards 125-98 in the NBA Canada Series before heading to Washington and losing to the Wizards in the next game 113-95. Their last loss came against Boston 115-111 just last weekend.
Looking to bounce back against Boston, Gradey Dick led the team in scoring in the loss with 18 points on 5-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc. Houston rookie Jamal Shead had 14 points and five assists on 4-of-9 from the field. Jakob Poeltl had the team’s only double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds with two assists.
