The Boston Celtics go for their fifth straight win on Wednesday when they take on the Indiana Pacers in a rematch of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The defending champion Boston Celtics are picking up right where they left off, going for their fifth win in a row to start the season on Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers. For maybe a slight exception against Detroit, none of Boston’s first four wins have been all that close either. The Celtics are coming off arguably their toughest opponent of the season and Boston made easy work of the Milwaukee Bucks, beating them 119-108 on Monday. Damian Lillard scored the most points in the game with 33, but Boston came out with a more complete performance. Finals MVP Jaylen Brown scored 30 points, but it was Payton Pritchard coming off the bench that made the biggest splash. Pritchard rained down eight three-pointers to finish with 28 points off the bench. It was a close game until the Celtics broke away late in the third quarter with Boston outscoring Milwaukee by 14 points in the second half.
