The Chicago Bulls (13-15) shocked the Boston Celtics (21-6) in TD Garden giving them two losses in the last four games overall. Chicago is playing its best basketball of the season winning three straight, two on the road and one against the defending champions. Taking down Boston twice in a row will be a challenge. This season Boston has not lost back-to-back games and coming off a loss have won the next game by an average of 17.4 points per game. Chicago has the opportunity, led by Zach LaVine, to give Boston its first losing streak of the season while continuing its season-best three game winning streak.

LaVine led the way in the upset win for Chicago on Thursday with 36 points, six rebounds and four assists. He was on fire all game shooting 11-19 from the field, 6-11 from three and 8-9 from the free-throw line in his best overall performance of the season.
Five other Chicago players scored in double-figures in the win. Ayo Dosunmo stepped into the starting role finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Nikola Vucevic added his 16th double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
In the loss Jayson Tatum led Boston with 31 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals. Boston shot 25% from three and made just 14 three-pointers as a team, which are the second and third worst performances of the season. When the three-point shot is not falling Boston gives its opponents an opportunity to upset the defending champions.
