Over the last two games Fox has been responsible for 150 of the teams 247 total points scored. Fox will need a truly special game to surpass Chamberlain’s 226 in 1962 and Bryant’s 175 points in 2007. However, with 56 points he will pass Michael Jordan (1990, 165 points) for the third most points in three games ever and 55 points from passing James Harden (2019, 163 points) for the most this century.
Atlanta is as equipped as any team in the NBA to try and slow down a guard scoring at this level. This season Dyson Daniels leads the league with 7.5 deflections and 3.8 steals per game.
Last season Fox averaged 21.5 points and 4.5 assists per game in two games against Atlanta. This is a different team with Daniels leading the defense on the perimeter setting the stage for one of the most exciting games in the NBA to start the week.
