How to Watch Hawks at Heat: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks take on Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in NBA preseason action on Wednesday.

One of the stories of the preseason has been the play of No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher. The French wing came into the NBA with little fanfare or expectations, but has played well for the Atlanta Hawks through two games. In his debut he led Atlanta to a win with 18 points, making plays on both ends of the floor. Then, he followed that up with 14 points in a loss. Risacher showing these flashes gives All-Star caliber point guard Trae Young another wing in the rotation to set up and make plays for this season. Before the season begins Atlanta has two more road preseason games, starting with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat.

So far in two preseason games Miami is also 1-1 with both games decided by just one possession in the end. Adebayo (9.5 points per game) and Butler (7.5 points per game) are playing light minutes as the team gears up for another season as one of the most feared underdogs in recent NBA history.

Miami will also look for contributions from young players this season, especially second-year forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. and rookie big man Kel’el Ware. Through two games he has shown flashes, averaging 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game. In his preseason debut Ware finished with 13 points, five rebounds and four blocked shots while stretching the defense out to the three-point line.

During the Olympics Adebayo proved he can play next to another big man whether it was Joel Embiid or Anthony Davis. Adding Ware to the mix this season gives Miami another look to throw at teams alongside the veteran core on the perimeter.
