How to Watch 76ers at Celtics: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

The Boston Celtics host the Philadelphia 76ers as they try to get back in the win column for this Christmas Day division battle.

The Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics face-off for the first time this season on Christmas Day. Going into this season, it might not have been expected that the Celtics would hold an 11-game advantage in the Atlantic Division standings, but a lot of that has to do with the injuries Philadelphia has gone through. The Sixers are finally starting to get healthy and they are coming off a chaotic 111-106 win against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond were ejected after fouls on Victor Wembendyama.

The former MVP Embiid was ejected after arguing a charging call against Wembenyama, but the Sixers didn’t let losing their best player get to them. Tyrese Maxey led the game with 32 points, while adding 10 rebounds and was two assists away from a triple-double. Paul George stepped it up to contribute 19 points to help the 76ers pull off the comeback. The Spurs went up a point with just a little more than a minute left, but Maxey turned it up, throwing down a dunk to take back the lead and then he hit a three-pointer to secure the win. This game against Boston will present a much tougher challenge, but this game will be a lot closer than their records would indicate, especially if Philly’s Big Three all can suit up.

The Celtics are coming off a rare loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday by a 108-104 final. Jaylen Brown had a great night regardless by scoring a game-high 35 points. But Tristan da Silva hit a clutch three with just 9.9 seconds that helped the Magic rally from a 15-point deficit at halftime. The Celtics were without Jayson Tatum though, as he is listed as a game-time decision tonight. If the Celtics get back Tatum, they should be able to rebound quickly.
