Even though the NBA Finals didn’t end long ago, fans could not have been more excited to have live basketball back on TV. While Summer League play doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things, it’s always exciting to see young players get a chance to play. The Hawks have gone 1-2 in Summer League action ahead of today’s game. Last time out, however, Atlanta beat the Heat by a final score of 95-88. In that game, the Hawks were led by forward Tyrese Martin, who scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds.
On the other side of the court, the Spurs are 0-3 this summer. San Antonio’s last game came against the Rockets and they lost by a final score of 97-84.
