Heading into the weekend Larson has all the momentum again with the potential to come away with a record-tying fourth win at the NASCAR All-Star Race. He is the overall points leader at the halfway point in the season with 486 points built on two wins, one coming two races ago.
Just behind him to fill out the top five in points are Martin Truex Jr. (456 points), Denny Hamlin (477 points), Chase Elliott (437 points) and William Byron (400 points) all looking to have fun here this weekend, but also pick up a win to kick-off the second half of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
