The Phillies have been just as hot though going 8-2 in their last 10 games. They are 31-31 on the year and 9.5 games behind the leading New York with only Atlanta between them. They are two games ahead of Miami.
So far, these teams have split the series. Philadelphia won the first game 3-2 when Rhys Hoskins doubled in the bottom of the ninth in walk-off fashion. Miami came back and won the second game in the top of the ninth scoring three runs after being down to win 11-9.
Jesús Aguilar’s double in that inning sent home Nick Fortes and Jazz Chisholm, Jr., for the win. With the series win on the line, both of these hot teams will look to keep their fire burning.
