How to Watch Mets at Dodgers NLCS Game 6: Stream MLB, TV Channel

The New York Mets look to keep fighting for another day and force Game 7 when the NLCS heads back to Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Dodgers look to be the second team to clinch a spot in the World Series when they take on the New York Mets in Game 6 of the NLCS. This comes a day after the New York Yankees were the first team to make it to the Fall Classic by beating the Cleveland Guardians in the ALCS 4-1. This series has been a little bit more even with the Dodgers up 3-2 but not one game has been close. That includes Game 5 of this series which the Mets dominated. But the Dodgers were dominating their trip to Queens winning the first two games in New York by a combined 18-2 score to go up 3-1 in the series. These OMG Mets won’t back down though and showed up in a huge way on Friday night beating LA 12-6 to keep their season alive.

Pete Alonso wouldn’t let New York go out quietly and set the tone early in Game 5 by hitting a three-run 432-foot moonshot in the first inning. LA would score in the second but that was the last time the game was close with the Mets scoring five more runs to put the game out of reach.

It was a far cry from Game 1 for Dodgers starter Jack Flaherty who pitched brilliantly in Game 1 last Sunday going seven innings while only giving up two hits in a 9-0 shutout. Surely we will have a close game at least one time in this series. Compare that with Friday’s start where Flaherty only lasted three innings while giving up eight runs on eight hits. The Mets will rely on Sean Manaea tonight to extend their season. The great news for New York is he has been special this October. He won the second game of this series going five innings while only giving up two runs in an eventual 7-3 win that tied this series for the Mets. Los Angeles has yet to name a starter for tonight. Can New York keep the magic rolling and extend this series to a Game 7?
