How to Watch Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres: Stream MLB, TV Channel

Tied at 1-1, the series shifts to San Diego as the Padres host the Dodgers for Game 3

After a blowout victory in Game 2, the San Diego Padres turn to Michael King (13-9, 2.95 ERA) for tonight’s Game 3 as the National League Division Series moves down I-5 to Petco Park with the Los Angeles Dodgers looking to regroup after their six-game winning streak was snapped. The Dodgers will send veteran right hander Walker Buehler (1-6, 5.38 ERA) to the mound in search of his first win since mid-May and his first playoff win since helping the Dodgers win the World Series in the bubble in 2020. Buehler missed the entire 2023 season due to Tommy John surgery and was sidelined for two months this year due to hip inflammation.

Padres right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. is on a tear to start the playoffs hitting .643 with three home runs, two doubles, and five runs batted in through his first four games. The 25-year-old star has a hit in all four postseason games including three-consecutive multi-hit games after his 3-for-4 effort in Sunday’s 10-2 at Los Angeles where he hit two home runs, drove in three runs and scored three runs in the blowout victory.

In his first playoff series, Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani homered in Saturday’s Game 1 win but has posted a team high four strikeouts in nine at bats. This season Ohtani became the first player in Major League Baseball history to post a 50-home run and 50 stolen base season while hitting .310 and driving in 130 runs.

This series marks the third meeting all-time between the Dodgers and the Padres in the postseason. Los Angeles swept San Diego in 2020 while the Padres beat the Dodgers 3-1 in the 2022 NLDS.
