The Chicago Cubs continue their nine-game road trip on Friday night when they take on the Seatle Mariners. The Cubs come into Friday looking to bounce back from a series loss to the San Diego Padres. The Cubs won the middle game, but blew an eight-run lead in the first game and then were overwhelmed in the finale 10-2. They had won six of seven coming into their series with the Padres, but they stumbled in San Diego. Friday they will look to get back on track in the opener against the Mariners. They will send Jordan Wicks to the mound as they look to get a win. Wicks is looking for his first win of the season as he comes into the game 0-1 with a 4.15 ERA.

He picked up a win in his last start as he went seven innings of scoreless ball. He struck out seven and walked just one in getting the win over the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Mariners are hoping he can give them another great outing as they try and win a second straight game.
The Mariners snapped a three-game losing streak on Wednesday when they beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-1 in 10 innings. It was just their second win in the last eight games and improved their record to 5-8 on the season.
