In Wednesday’s game the Storm Chasers came out of the gate quickly, scoring three runs in the first inning and five more the next three innings. They didn’t score after that, but it didn’t matter. The Indians managed just four hits and the two runs came in the sixth inning.
In Game 1 it will be Chandler Champlain going for the Storm Chasers and Daulton Jefferies taking the mound for the Indians. Champlain is 2-1 on the season with a 3.64 ERA in eight games. Jefferies is 1-1 with a 4.81 ERA in six games, four of which have been starts.
