Northeastern and Dartmouth will play their final non-conference game on Tuesday night in Boston ahead of the final stretch of conference play.
On Tuesday night, Dartmouth will take a road trip to Boston to take on Northeastern in a non-conference matchup at Parsons Field. The Huskies have really struggled this season and are currently 1-4-7 overall with a conference record of 0-3-2 for a spot at the bottom of the Coastal Athletic standings. On Saturday, the team traveled south to take on the College of Charleston and the game resulted in a 1-1 draw. The Huskies fell behind in the first 10 minutes of play, but they stayed composed and settled into their own style of play. In the 36th minute, Fraser Brown was able to break away from the back line and ended up in a one-on-one opportunity with the Charleston goalie. He was able to slot the ball into the net to tie the game up. The teams remained tied despite the Huskies outshooting the Cougars 16-14.

The Big Green has stayed right around .500 for the entire season and will look to bump up to a winning record with a victory on Tuesday. Currently, Dartmouth is 4-4-2 overall with an Ivy League record of 1-1-1. The team is on a two-game draw streak with its last time out resulting in a 2-2 result against Columbia. Dartmouth was dealt a red card in the 32nd minute, forcing the team to play down for the remainder of the match. Eidur Baldvinsson netted his second goal of the season in the 37th minute to give Dartmouth a 1-0 lead and a bit of momentum going into halftime. Trenton Blake added to that lead in the 59th minute of play by converting a penalty kick for his fourth goal of the year. Columbia battled back, scoring twice in the last 15 minutes of play to even the score. Costi Christodoulou made six saves in net for the Big Green.
The last time these two programs met dates back to 2016 and the game resulted in a 2-0 victory for Dartmouth to improve the Big Green’s overall record to 8-3-1 against the Huskies.
