Green has two of her five career wins this season along with four Top 10 finishes. Right behind Green on the leaderboard is local golfer Yu Jin Sung (-16) who rocketed up the leaderboard in the third round. Sung went off in the third round with a nine under par. She finished the day with nine birdies and a clean scorecard to jump up into sole possession of second place heading into the final round of play. If Sung is able to overcome Green and the field it would be the first win of her career as a rookie on the LPGA Tour.

Also in the mix heading into the final round are Ashleigh Buhai (-15) three strokes behind the leader and two golfers tied at -14 under par in Ryann O’Toole and Haeran Ryu.

This is the fifth year of the BMW Ladies Championship. All four previous tournaments have seen different winners. Local Korean golfers won the first two years in Ha Na Jang (2019) and Jun Young Ko (2021) followed by Lydia Ko (2022) and Minjee Lee (2023) in the last two events.
