The Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation center started in 2005 to give Jan the resources to continue her work. She started with 20 animals that year and expanded to 150 in 2009 with the center growing every year giving her team the 24/7 work to help heal the wildlife in Saskatoon.
The philosophy of the Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation center comes through in this series as Jan and her team work tirelessly to nurture 100’s of animals back to full health. They work with birds, raccoons, porcupines and all of the local wildlife in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. They provide a safe place for injured and orphaned animals while encouraging and teaching the public to care for the wildlife around them.
