The Little League World Series continues on Friday with four games from Williamsport.
It’s time to see the best youth baseball players from around the world when 20 teams descend upon Williamsport with the hopes of winning the Little League World Series. The championship game will take place on Aug. 25, but before that pool play continues on in the United States and International brackets on Friday with four games scheduled. Friday’s slate of games will see two International bracket games and two American bracket games. In game one, which begins at 1:00 p.m. ET, Mexico vs. Latin America takes place. Mexico is represented by Matamoros Little League (Tamaulipas, Mexico) and Latin America is represented by Cardenales Little League (Barquisimeto, Venezuela). The other international game is between Australia and Asia-Pacific at 5:00 p.m. ET. The Australia region is represented by Hills Little League (Sydney, Australia), while Asia-Pacific’s team is Kuei-Shan Little League (Taoyuan City, Chinese Taipei).
The first American game is West vs. Great Lakes Region at 3:00 p.m. ET. West is represented by Central East Maui Little League (Wailuku, Hawaii), while Mountain is represented by Paseo Verde Little League (Henderson, Nevada). The final game of the day at 7:00 p.m. ET is between the Northwest and Southeast regions. The Northwest region is represented by South Hill Little League (Puyallup, Washington), while the Southeast region is represented by Lake Mary Little League (Lake Mary, Florida).
