Starting right back Gaddi Aguirre received two yellow cards within the first half hour of the match, with the defender set to miss the match at home against Querétaro on Friday.

Los Gallos Blancos’ lone victory was in their most recent league outing, which was a slim 1-0 finish over Tigres UANL on Tuesday at Corregidora Stadium. Franco Russo scored the game-winning goal in the 39th minute of the win at home.
The victory snapped an eight-match winless run in league play for Querétaro to start the season.
