On Sunday night, the Liga MX Femenil apertura season will come to a close for fourth place Pachuca and second place Tigres UANL. Pachuca has an overall record of 11-4-1 for a total of 37 points in the league table. Pachuca has two draws and one loss in its last three games with the most recent being a 2-2 draw against Tijuana. Aisha Solorzano netted the first goal of the match for Tijuana before Veronica Corral was able to tie things up in the 40th minute. The team took the lead just before the break, scoring on a penalty kick, but Tijuana was able to score the equalizer just before the final whistle blew. A win instead of draw would have had Pachuca in third place instead of fourth.
