In his first season with Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé has not slowed his scoring prowess netting four goals in his first six matches. At just 25-years-old, Mbappé has already earned a decorated career tallying 165 goals with Paris Saint-Germain from 2018-2024 and 48 goals alongside a World Cup title with France since joining the national team in 2017. Mbappé signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid and scored a goal in his first appearance with the club in a UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta.
The Alavés scoring attack is headed by forwards Carlos Vicente and Toni Martinez who have combined for four of the nine goals so far this season. Vicente has already equaled his scoring output from a year ago when he scored two goals in 12 starts while Martinez, who has mostly come off the bench this season, has scored or assisted in three of his first four games with the club.
Real Madrid has dominated this series of late winning the last three matches by a combined 9-0 score line including a 1-0 away win in December of 2023 where it played with 10 men for the last 36 minutes.
