Looking to snap three-game winless streak, Alavés aims for fourth straight result against Real Valladolid
With just two points from its last eight matches, Real Valladolid hits the road in search of its first ever La Liga win at Alavés and first win across all competitions against the hosts since 2015. Alavés sits 13th in the La Liga table one quarter of the way through the season having been shutout in its last two matches and are winless in its last three contests since a home win against Sevilla in mid-September. Alavés has a trio of forwards tied for the team lead in goals as Enrique Garcia, Carlos Vicente and Toni Martinez each have two goals on the season. Garcia, in his first season with the club has spent his last seven seasons in La Liga netting 35 goals for Eibar before two seasons in Osasuna and has 125 career goals as a professional across all competitions since making his debut with Murcia B in 2008.
Real Valladolid has lost three consecutive matches in this series across all competitions dating back to 2020, most recently dropping a 1-0 away match at Alavés in Copa del Rey in January of 2023, and has been shutout against Babazorros in four of the last five matches.
Real has bounced back and forth between La Liga and La Liga 2 each of the last five seasons, twice being relegated in 2021 and 2023 only to earn its way back by finishing second in the second tier the following season.
