AC Milan will make the short trip north to face Monza on Saturday in what promises to be a tense showdown between two local rivals each aiming to bounce back following identical losses. The Rossoneri are on the rebound after succumbing 2-0 at home to Napoli on Tuesday in a defeat that saw them surrender valuable ground in the chase for this season’s Scudetto. Meanwhile, Monza lost by the same scoreline when visiting Atalanta on Wednesday evening and is still targeting its first home win of the 2023-24 campaign against an enemy it managed to beat 4-2 in this fixture back in February.
