In last season’s match the Big Green got off to a good start with Vasilis Moiras scoring at the 1:21 mark of the first half. From there the Bulldogs dominated with goals by Marc Pitarch Bayot (36:01), Jonas Lyshoj (77:19) and Inigo Villaldea (87:25) to cruise to a 3-1 win last season.
Moiras is back this season as the team’s second leading points scorer (five) and goal scorer (two) behind teammate Trenton Blake. Those two are the only Bulldogs players with multiple goals scored this season and at least five total points. Blake and Moiras will look to lead the offense to a win today.
For the Bulldogs, Pitarch Bayot and Lyshoj are back as two of the team’s top goal scorers. Through six matches Pitarch has a team leading two goals and five points this season while Lyshoj is off to a slower start with just one assist so far. The team defense has made the Bulldogs successful this season allowing just three goals in six matches, shutting out four opponents.
