Brazilians Elisandra Ferreira and Andressa Romero clash on Friday night in Kansas City, Kansas, for the vacant Invicta FC atomweight belt
The atomweight title in the Invicta Fighting Championship sat idle for almost a year but will be awarded Friday night when Brazilians Elisandra Ferreira (7-2, 1 KO) and Andressa Romero (7-4-1) face off in a bout scheduled for five rounds at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, to headline an five-fight card at Invicta FC 57. Ferreira comes in with three straight wins, including a unanimous three-round decision over Katie Saull at Invicta 55 in Kansas City on June 28. Romero, meanwhile, ended a two-fight skid on the same card with a unanimous three-round decision over Saori Oshima. Rayanne dos Santos vacated the atomweight belt on Oct. 17 when she signed with UFC after claiming the title on May 3, 2023.

Flyweights set the table for the main event when Kristina Williams (7-4, 2 KOs) squares off with Nayara Maia (7-1-1, 5 KOs). It is the Invicta FC debut for Maia, who took her first loss via unanimous decision to Tereza Bledá in her last bout in September 2022 in Dana White’s Contender Series. Williams comes off a split-decision win over Dee Begley at Invicta FC 54 in Boston on Oct. 27.
Another flyweight fight matches Liz Tracy (7-5, 5 KOs) against fellow American DeAnna Bennett (13-9-1, 6 KOs). Tracy last fought on Feb. 22, when she took a unanimous decision over Antonina Kuleshova in Kazan, Russia. Bennett has lost three straight fights since her last win in August 2022, losing via mounted guillotine choke at 1:50 of the first round to Viviane Pereira at XFC: Detroit Grand Prix 2 on May 31.
The main card opens with featherweights Jamie Edenden (4-2-1, 1 KO) and Abby Montes (4-3, 2 KOs) before flyweights Milana Dudieva (12-9, 10 KOs) and Sandra Lavado (12-5, 4 KOs) square off.
