On Saturday, they will meet with the No. 13-ranked team in the nation, Arizona, at the McKale Memorial Center. The Houston Cougars are 20-4 overall this season. They finished the first two months of the season in non-conference play with an 8-3 record. Since then, they have ran over teams to the top of the conference with a 12-1 record against Big 12 teams.

    In the last week, they were able to get the better of Colorado on the road by 10 points, led by a 20-point performance from J’Wan Roberts. They are one game behind the leader of the conference and their opponent, while also 1.5 games above No. 12 Texas Tech.

    They ended last weekend with a huge upset win at home over Texas Tech by nine points that catapulted them to No. 13 overall. Caleb Love led the team with 16 points and six assists in the win. However, earlier this week, they suffered their second loss of conference play on the road to an unranked opponent in Kansas State. In the three-point loss, KJ Lewis led the team with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting.
