The biggest kickboxing promotion in the world heads to Rotterdam, Netherlands for GLORY 96 this weekend. This card features title matches, local fighters, six main card matches preceded by five preliminary matches. In the main event local kickboxers Chico Kwasi (4-0-0) and Tyjani Beztati (17-3-0) face off for the Welterweight World Title. Kwasi heads into this match as the champion, facing off with the number one ranked welterweight kickboxer in GLORY. The crowd will be firmly on Kwasi’s side as a local of the Netherlands looking to retain his title in front of his home country fans. Beztati will try to play spoiler in that fairy tale scenario to capture the title.

In the other championship match on this card Donovan Wisse (11-1-0) defends his Middleweight World Title against the third ranked contender in the world, Sergej Braun (2-2-0) who is ranked third in the world. Braun is less experienced in GLORY, but has a 44-13-0 record overall with 27 knockouts.
Also on the main card are four more matches featuring three different weight classes in the world of kickboxing. Sixth ranked heavyweight Nabil Khachab (4-2-0) takes on unranked Bugra Tugay Erdogan (0-0-0) while third ranked featherweight Dennis Wosik (4-1-0) is challenged by seventh ranked Bobo Sacko (1-0-0).
There are two middleweight bouts on the card feature top ranked middleweight Michael Boapeah (8-3-0) being challenged by unranked Mohamed Touchassie (2-2-0) and an unranked middleweight bout between Iliass Hammouche (2-0-0) and Mihailo Culafic (0-0-0) round out the main card. Before the main card matches there are five preliminary matches to set the stage for an exciting card kickboxing.
