The Blues have a chance to finish this homestand on a high note – after winning the first two games of this stretch, St. Louis dropped the last two games on Thursday and Saturday. A win would also get the team back to .500 for the season, after they dipped under in their most recent loss.

In that Saturday game, the Blues came up on the wrong side of an 8-1 game against the Washington Capitals. Prior to that they’d scored multiple goals in every game on this homestand.
The Bruins come to town also coming off a loss. Boston also last played on Saturday. The Bruins scored twice in 15 seconds at one point in that game but that was as much as they could muster offensively as they fell 3-2 in overtime to the Ottawa Senators. It was the Bruins’ second overtime game in a row, after beating the Calgary Flames at home 4-3 on Thursday.
Right winger David Pastrnak has provided most of the offensive juice for the Bruins this year. He leads the team in goals (with six), assists (with eight), and total points (14) through 16 games.
