The Medal Round of the NCAA Championship in college wrestling features the best on the mat today.
The championship matches in college wrestling this season are set with six top seeds vying to finish the season as champions in their weight classes. This tournament has been filled with upsets, huge moments and some of the most exciting college wrestling in recent years. Now it all comes down to one final day on the mat for all 10 weight classes to determine the national champions in each group as well as the team champion for the season. The most impressive team this season and in the tournament is Penn State, who has five wrestlers in a position to win their weight class. The Nittany Lions had six wrestlers in the semifinals, and now can finish the tournament with three individual champions on the way to a three-peat as National Champions.

Those five wrestlers are second-seeded Beau Bartlett (141 pounds), top-seeded Levi Haines (157), second-seeded Mitchell Messenbrink (165), top-seeded Carter Starocci (174), top-seeded Aaron Brooks (197) and top-seeded Greg Kerkvliet (285).
The rest of the field features wrestlers from all over the country across the top teams. There are huge surprises like eighth-seeded Richard Figueroa from Arizona State in the championship for 125 pounds after scoring a huge upset over the top-ranked player in the weight class 10th-seeded Lucas Davison from Michigan in 285.
All of the wrestlers that made it to this state have the skill and potential to finish their individual weight classes as champions, whether they are top-seeds or a Cinderella who had to upset a top contender to get here today.
