Michigan looks to stay unbeaten on the season when it hosts No. 1 Maryland on Saturday afternoon
The top two teams in women’s lacrosse hit the field on Saturday afternoon when No. 2 Michigan hosts No. 1 Maryland. The Wolverines come into Saturday a perfect 11-0 on the season and fresh off an impressive comeback win over Marquette last weekend. The Wolverines trailed the Golden Eagles by three at halftime after being outscored 7-1 in the second quarter. They still trailed by one heading into the fourth, but the shutout Marquette 8-0 in the final frame to get the 18-11 win. Saturday they will look to stay unbeaten on the season as they play their third Big Ten match of the season. They have already knocked off Ohio State and Rutgers to open conference play.

The Terrapins have also beaten the Buckeyes and Scarlet Knights in Big Ten play and come into Saturday 9-2 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
The Terrapins, though, are coming off a rare loss as they fell to No. 14 Penn 13-9 on Wednesday night.
It was their second loss of the season as they also fell to No. 16 Florida 13-12 in overtime back on February 24th.
Saturday they will look to bounce back and get a huge road win and take control of the Big Ten.
