Lightning play final road game of the regular season against the Capitals who are aiming to bolster playoff resume
Already locked into a wild card spot in the NHL’s Eastern Conference, the Tampa Bay Lightning play their final road game of the season today in D.C. as they face off against the Washington Capitals in a Saturday matinee. Washington is one of four teams gunning for the final wild-card spot in the East as they trail Pittsburgh by one point heading into today’s games. The Caps have lost seven of their last eight games and with Atlantic Division-leading Boston coming to town Monday, chances to collect points are dwindling in the final week of the regular season.
