The 19th race of the 2024 UCI season is a one day race completed in Belgium. This is the 110th edition of the Liège – Bastogne – Liège is a road cycling course in Belgium that stretches for 160.9 miles testing every cyclist in unique ways. All 18 UCI WorldTeams will be in competition along with seven of the UCI ProTeams are in the field. Heading into this race the top team in points is UAE Team Emirates who have been dominant to start the 2024 season with a whopping 11,840 points. They have over an 11,000-point lead over every other team in the field with none of the teams cracking 1,000 points as of today.

Last season this race was won by local Belgian Remco Evenepoel leading the Soudal-Quick-Step team to a victory. British cyclist Tom Pidcock and the Ineos Grenadiers finished in second place while Santiago Buitrago and Team Bahrain Victorious from Columbia rounded out the top three.
The top three teams in points in the UCI ProTeams division will all be on display today as well. Lotto-Dstny enters this race as the leader in points with 3,834 followed by Israel-Premier Tech with 3,434 points and Uno-X Mobility with 1,998 points. All three of those teams will look to come out with a win in a race that is dominated by a field filled with UCI WorldTeams.
This one day event in Belgium is followed by an Eliminator World Cup race in Barcelona, the fifth round of the World Cup in Oklahoma and the rest of the races to close out the Spring season and launch into the grueling heat of the Summer on the UCI Tour.
